“One of the nights at the beginning of the tour, I ended up putting my hand out and this girl grabbed my hand. And then all of a sudden I started feeling all of these girls grabbing my hand and it was just this moment of… they were kinda comforting me. And it’s a really vulnerable and emotional part of the song and I feel it every time I sing it. So for them to be holding my hand is just really nice, made me feel a little better. And so I just started putting my hand out every night and like, there’s something really, really cool for me in that connection. Like holding somebody’s hand is such a personal thing and I really like that part of the show every night.”
